ABSTRACT

The aim of this study is to evaluate the quality of public and private hospitals' quality directors in Health Accreditation Standards (SAS) Hospital Kit and to make recommendations for effective and efficient implementation of the hospital set. The study was conducted with the quality management directors of 10 hospitals by interview method of qualitative research. Data collection process was completed between November and December 2018. The interviews were planned with the participants face-to-face and audio recording was conducted with the consent of the participants. The sound recordings obtained in the study were transcribed on computer. As a result of the research, it has been determined that SAS Hospital Set is continuously monitored by hospitals and that accreditation by the state will provide advantages over private accreditation in terms of reliability and it should be voluntarily in the implementation of the set and contribute to continuous improvement.
