ABSTRACT
Cancer is a kind of disease that is seen in tissues or organs that occurs when the cell divides uncontrollably because of deterioration in the control mechanisms that ensure cell growth and development. It is the second most common cause of death in the world. Cancer cells act like they need to get more nutrients than normal cells because of their rate of division. For this reason, they change the metabolism of the nutrients they use. Our aim in this review is to explain the difference of glucose, glutamine, and lipid metabolisms of cancer cells from normal cells metabolisms and to show the effect of these differences on cancer development.
