ABSTRACT

In recent years, it is seen that laboratory applications created through technology are used in various health disciplines as an alternative to traditional application methods, but they are relatively new in the field of psychological health. In this study, it is aimed to examine the studies based on scientific research designs in the literature in order to take a closer look at the applications specific to the field of psychological health, which has not yet become widespread. With this article is to define emotions, face recognition and emotion regulation and explain their relationship with sports, to examine the effects of the relationship between them on one's performance and to emphasize the importance of emotion regulation, face recognition and emotions in one's life. A compilation was made by quoting from the related articles. In particular, the effects of emotions and sports on each other, the applicability of POFA and ERT for emotion recognition measurement, the effects of emotional processing on one's life and the connection between sports and sports are discussed. Finally, by talking about the usage areas of computer-based experiments, we summarize the solution suggestions that can be applied in case of potential problems by supporting with examples. Our aim is to provide a basic resource for researchers taking their first steps in the field of computer-based psychological measurements and to discuss important issues in this field.
