ABSTRACT
Health tourism is becoming an increasingly important issue for both service buyers and service providers. Although quality health facility infrastructure, expert health personnel and economical health service provision are seen as important advantages of our country in this field, health tourism is not limited to these criteria Considering that health tourists enter the country with an intermediary institution and receive services in many areas such as thermal facilities, accommodation facilities, recreation areas outside the hospital, it is important to be satisfied with the staff during all the trip. The aim of this study is to examine the curricula of the Health Tourism Management Associate Degree Programs, which train manpower for the health tourism sector and provide active education in 9 universities in our country, through the YÖK Associate Degree Atlas platform between February- June 2022, and to propose a common curriculum that will enable them to receive an education in accordance with the needs of the era. In order to contribute to the training of qualified manpower for the health tourism sector, suggestions were made such as standardizing the curricula and strengthening the practical and theoretical education of the students.
