ABSTRACT

Ensuring patient safety in health services and using the available resources in the most efficient way is necessary in order to achieve modern service delivery. The Ministry of Health of the Republic of Turkey has used various tools and ways to reach health workers and institutions in order to develop the National Quality System in Health and to develop a quality culture. The main goal of Health Quality Standards (SKS), which is one of them, can be expressed as ensuring patient and employee safety. Drug management and pharmacy service is an indispensable part of health services. It has been determined by criteria related to drug management within the scope of Health Quality Standards (SKS). In this study, it was aimed to evaluate the SKS knowledge level of hospital pharmacy staff. 28 volunteers participated in the study. As a result of the study, it was determined that the employees had knowledge about the quality criteria in drug management.
