ABSTRACT

Institutions and organizations wishing to provide quality healthcare services must measure the quality of the service they offer, plan and implement improvements at the employee, clinic and institutional level, and make the re-evaluation process continuous within a system. The mission of an organization, the desire to do the right thing and the general pursuit of excellence are reasonable justifications for quality improvement programs. In addition to accreditation, central quality auditing are carried out for health institutions in Turkey. At the same time, there is a need for patientfocused quality management systems that ensure continuous and systematic quality improvement activities. This study was carried out with the aim of demonstrate the importance of continuous quality improvement programs in addition to TUSKA accreditation system.
